Barclay's was in the process of updating one of their legacy applications.   This application was a Visual Basic application from 1999. The application allowed bankers to evaluate the risk of lending money to various clients. This application used a card-stack presentation for the different rules on the Home Page. The application used a web-based spreadsheet embedded right in the application to enable the bankers to use an application they were already familiar with. This was very successful.
